Doglegs: When inputting distance to hole from the tee on a dogleg par 4/5, is it best to use the direct as-the-crow-flies GPS distance or the distance as measured on the scorecard? For example, on my home course, there’s a dogleg left par 4 with a scorecard distance of 434 (I’m assuming this is based on route to bend of dogleg), but the direct line distance is around 400

For consistency, it is best to use the scorecard distance (adjusted up or down a bit considering the placement of the tee markers relative to the hole yardage plate).

Lots of reasons for this, but it is a reasonable choice given a number of factors. Similarly, we don’t adjust approach shot distances if the hole is playing uphill versus downhill, into or against the wind.
